Family owned and operated since its inception in 1975, Mr. Ice Cream is an old fashioned ice cream parlour in the historic River Walk area of downtown San Antonio.
Since 1975, Mr. Ice Cream has been owned and operated by the Lozano family. Founded by Jesse and Dolly Lozano, the store ran under their care with the help of their three sons, until being passed onto their son, Michael, and their son's wife, Kelly.
Mr. Ice Cream is located in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Nestled between the Riverwalk and East Commerce St., the shop draws in customers from both sides looking for a frozen treat or just a taste of nostalgia. The outdoor patio offers a quiet respite for those looking to enjoy the sites of the Riverwalk from above.
Mr. Ice Cream is an old fashioned ice cream parlour in style and flavor. Using exclusively Blue Bell Ice Cream made just two hours away in the town of Brenham, we offer a variety of classic ice cream drinks and items. While you can order any of our menu items take-away or delivered, if you visit us in person, you can experience the red leather barstool countertops, tin sign decor, and classic, eclectic coin-operated games.
